- Regal Zora -

Regal Zoras are a marine, open ocean species, usually living thousands of miles away from the closest shore. Overtime, they have slowly deviated from their swift swimming, agile common Zora cousins, into a slower more dangerous creature. Their fins have lost all stability and waft freely in the ocean current, catching water through them and providing the Regal Zora with buoyancy rather than maneuverability. At the end of each fin, however, is a long strand of potent stinging cells called nematocysts. Unlike the common zora, which can produce short bursts of electricity, the Regal Zora's stinging tentacles are only activated when brushed up against yet are many times more deadly. The venom of a Regal Zora may cause temporary paralysis when made contact with the legs, arms, or fins of another creature, and even death when made contact with vital areas such as the face or simply if the victim becomes entangled in the tentacles.

A zora I designed, mainly based off the Portuguese Man-o-war for obvious reasons lol. The coloring blows but I really tried about 3 color combinations and they all looked super weird ):
